Gatekeepers Workcamp is a local mission hosted by Lakeside Baptist Church.  It was formed to encourage area youth to become involved in helping people within their own community to have a better life.

The youth who participate are organized into teams.  The teams are assigned specific projects making structural repairs, painting, and cleaning up houses of elderly or needy area residents.  These teams of youth, guided by adult volunteers, work for one week to complete their assigned projects. 

The 2010 Gatekeepers Workcamp will be held from July 11-16.  The fee is $115 per youth.  Payment is due in full by May 17.    As always, Good Shepherd Scholarships are available; please speak to Stephanie about scholarships.
