After a summer break, all choirs have resumed rehearsals and leading worship for the 2009-2010 church year The schedule is as follows:
The Cherub Choir is for children ages 3 through 1st grade. This choir learns fundamentals of music and liturgy and sings at the 9:00 A.M. service four to five times per year, at the St. Francis Day service, on Christmas Eve, and at the Mother's Day Dinner Theater. The choir rehearses on Wednesday afternoon from 5:00 till 5:30 with refreshments following.
The Alleluia Choir is for children in 2nd through 8th grades and 1st graders with excellent reading ability. This choir sings at the 9:00 AM service every two to three weeks from September through May, at the St. Francis Day service, at Lessons & Carols, on Christmas Eve, and at the Mother's Day Dinner Theater. The choir rehearses on Wednesday afternoon from 5:30 till 6:30 with refreshments following.
Wonderful Wednesdays is a church-wide program and dinner is part of the evening. Those attending choir rehearsals can stay for dinner beginning at 5:30 and going until 6:45.
The Good Shepherd Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30 till 9:00 P.M. The choir sings weekly at the 11:00 A.M. service as well as at evensongs, Lessons & Carols, on Christmas Eve, and at other services on the liturgical calendar. This choir also sings throughout the summer with a brief rehearsal thirty minutes before each service.
