Daniel Cenci will be with us over the next year as a person in discernment for ordination to the priesthood. Daniel is from Speed, NC and is a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Speed. Daniel will be with us on Sundays partaking at the altar, and ministering in many other ways. Please give Daniel a warm Good Shepherd welcome.
Daniel was born in Maryland but has lived in Speed, North Carolina for many years. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2007 with a degree in Religious Studies and History. Daniel has served as a Johnson Intern for the past ten months at the Chapel of The Cross in Chapel Hill. His placement in the Johnson Intern Program was with A Helping Hand. In the rest of his spare time Daniel enjoys deer hunting, throwing around the football, hanging out at the beach, studying the Bible, and playing Lacrosse. Daniel also spends a lot of his time working with his uncle on the family farm.
